Midwest natives, Kirsten + Ben, decided to take the non-traditional route and have an extraordinarily intimate ceremony in the middle of the Joshua Tree desert. Just myself, the officiant, and these two rad humans were present; otherwise known as my absolute favorite scenario to photograph. Once the ceremony commenced, the marriage license was signed, all that was left was the most beautiful winter golden + blue hour to shoot. These two were freaking troopers, allowing me complete creative freedom (which is not always the best idea, since I will take full advantage). Dragging them to every square inch of the park… North, South, East, and West. From the northern reaches of the Hidden Valley boulder formations to the southern jumping cholla cactus garden, to the western Key’s View lookout. Without further ado, I present my favorite elopement of 2017. Enjoy!
I hope you guys enjoyed Kirsten + Ben’s Joshua Tree elopement as much as I did! I had such a blast running around the desert + chasing light with these two rad human beings! Thanks again for stopping by, be sure to follow along for more adventurous love.
